Australia is the only supply line country in the International Needs Network that is obliged to separate its ministry and development activities because monetary gifts to ministry are largely not tax-deductible here.
Philanthropic giving to ministry projects has historically been much lower than giving to the sustainable development projects of International Needs and so church planting, for example, does not receive the same level of financial support from Australia as from other supply line countries in the Network.
What sets IN Network apart from many similar organisations is that our mission actively promotes spreading the good news and bringing people to God. If tax deductibility is not a consideration for you and you are moved to help us reach people in God's name with His word, we would welcome your financial and/or prayerful support. Remember the words of Jesus in the parable of the lost coin - "In the same way, I tell you, the angels of God rejoice over one sinner who repents."

The Great Commission requires us to go out and make disciples of all men. Our Vision Statement is consistent with that commission and tasks us with bringing the good news to people through our Ministry projects.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28: 19-20 |
ABOUT US
Our Vision Statement
IN Network seeks to glorify God and win people to Jesus Christ.
Our Mission Statement
IN Network in Australia connects Australians with its network of national partners in evangelism, discipleship and community development.
How We Work
The key to the IN Network Strategy is our gifted national leaders. They build strong, trusting relationships because they know the language and the culture of the people they minister to. By maintaining a lifestyle similar to their peers, they are able to reach areas that are closed to outsiders and they have a passion to minister to their people. As these trusting relationships flourish, our leaders are able to share a message of hope for the future.
The strategy is highly effective and extremely cost-efficient. It mobilises the hearts, skills and resources of partners around the world to touch the lives of people they may never see and to point them toward a brighter tomorrow.
The criteria IN Network applies to its ministries are:
- They must be indigenous or "home grown." That is, the vision, faith and essential expertise must come from nationals themselves.
- They must have this central aim: winning people to Jesus Christ.
- They must have the support and endorsement of Christian evangelical leadership in the country concerned.
- There must be sound stewardship so that donors can be assured that their gifts are properly applied.
Relationship building is the key. Christians and Churches in the Supply-line countries who link with a national, build such a relationship through regular correspondence, exchange of photographs, visits and ministry in the local Church. It also involves Western Christians and Church leaders joining with nationals in ministry in the Front-line nations.
Partnering with nationals is an accepted standard for reaching the world with the message of Jesus Christ and God positioned IN Network as a pioneer in this mission arena.
