One of the hardest issues to deal with in the post-modern world is money; how to get it, how to keep it and how to enjoy it. Money seems to create more problems than anything else. In the New Testament, Jesus spends a lot of time not so much on money as the love of money, the desire for money and the issues of having money or capital goods. Watch the advertisements on TV and count the number that claim they will help you get more money! Make no mistake, money is necessary as a medium of exchange. The love of money, the desire for money destroys the enjoyment of using the money we have and the pleasure of passin git round so more people can enjoy it too.

 An interesting issue occurs when we speak of the need for money on Christian Mission. It is not tax deductible! So when we give to Christiam Mission, we give with no return for the money, except that the word of God has moved to a new place or another person. At the "Feeding of the five thousand" (John 6: 1-15), it was a small boy who gave a small amount of food, which became the food for all people, a miracle surely, and it is one that you can be part of. A donation to the Christiam Mission of IN Network, will make a difference, it may even make a miracle happen for someone somewhere who hears the word of God and responds.

This is a call to give, not for a tax deduction, but for the work of God in the world that so sorely needs to hear the Good News of Jesus the Christ. IN Network in the Phillipines has planted over 300 Churches! Each of these Churches is led by a local Pastor who serves these poor communities. Most of the local Churches cannot afford to support their Pastors. It costs about $360 per month to sustain the work of one such worker. This includes their living stipend, training materials for outreach, transport and a Christmas gift equivalent to one month's stipend. Will you support this important work.?
